How to Log In to Your Genfin Account
- Navigate to www.genfin.co.za and click "Client Login" or "My Account" in the top navigation
- Enter the email address registered during your application
- Enter your password (set during the onboarding/agreement process)
- Complete any two-factor authentication step if prompted
- You will land on your Loan Dashboard showing your current loan summary
If you have not yet set up online access, contact Genfin at info@genfin.co.za or 0800 436 346 to receive your portal credentials.
Dashboard Features

Troubleshooting — Common Login and Account Issues
Cannot log in / password not working
- Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset via your registered email address
- Check that you are using the email linked to your application (business email, not personal)
- If the issue persists, call 0800 436 346 during business hours for identity verification and manual reset
Did not receive a welcome/portal-access email
- Check spam and junk folders
- Confirm that info@genfin.co.za is whitelisted in your business email settings
- Contact your Funding Analyst directly if no email was received within 24 hours of loan signing
Payment not showing in the dashboard
- Allow up to one business day for EFT payments to reflect
- If a payment has not appeared after 48 hours, send your proof of payment to info@genfin.co.za
Account showing incorrect balance
- Contact Genfin's support team immediately with your loan reference number
- Do not make additional payments until the discrepancy is resolved
Account Security Recommendations
- Never share your portal login credentials with employees, bookkeepers, or third parties — request read-only access through Genfin if needed
- Use a strong, unique password (minimum 12 characters, mixed case and numbers)
- Log out after each session when accessing from a shared or public device
- Report any suspicious activity on your account to Genfin immediately
