Unifi Credit uses a single, streamlined disbursement method: a direct bank transfer into the account where you receive your monthly salary. This approach ensures that funds reach you quickly and that Unifi can confirm the account's ownership and activity before sending money.
Direct Bank Transfer to Your Salary Account
Once your loan application is approved and you have signed the electronic pre-agreement, Unifi initiates an EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) to your designated salary bank account. The process works as follows:
- Submit your bank account details during the application — specifically the account into which your employer deposits your monthly salary.
- Sign the loan agreement electronically via the online portal.
- Funds are transferred via EFT. For most major South African banks, the credit appears within minutes during business hours.
- You receive an SMS/email confirmation once the payment has been initiated.
