Standard EFT Disbursement
The primary disbursement method used by EC Online Loans' partner lenders is an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to the borrower's nominated bank account. Key points:
- Funds are transferred to the same account into which your monthly salary is deposited (as verified on your bank statements).
- Transfer typically clears on the same business day if the credit agreement is signed before approximately 13:00 SAST.
- Agreements signed after 13:00 or on weekends or public holidays are generally processed the next business day.
- EC Online Loans' partner network has confirmed an advertised timeframe of within 24 hours for most disbursements.

FAQ — Receiving Funds
Can I receive the loan into a Capitec account? Yes. Capitec is one of the most widely used South African retail banks and is fully supported.
Can the funds go to a third party's account? No. NCA regulations require disbursement to the verified account of the borrower.
What if my bank account details change after I apply? Contact the matched lender directly before the agreement is signed. Do not change account details after signing without the lender's written confirmation.
