How Mulah Disburses Loan Funds
Once your application is approved and you have signed your credit agreement electronically, Mulah transfers the approved loan amount directly into the South African bank account you specified during the application. There is no cash disbursement option — all funds are transferred electronically.
Primary Disbursement Method: Direct Bank Transfer
Mulah uses an electronic bank transfer (EFT) to credit your account. The key details are:
| Detail | Information |
|---|---|
| Disbursement method | Direct EFT to your bank account |
| Timing | As fast as 60 seconds after approval |
| Same-day funding | Available for applications submitted before 3:00 PM on business days |
| Supported banks | All major South African banks (Absa, FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank, Capitec, etc.) |
| Cash option | Not available |
How Fast Will I Receive My Money?
Mulah's stated disbursement speed of 60 seconds applies to approved loans where the borrower's bank supports instant payment. In practice:
- Most clients with accounts at major South African banks receive funds within minutes
- Applications submitted after 3:00 PM or on weekends / public holidays may be processed on the next business day
- First-time applicants may experience slightly longer processing while identity verification is completed
